I've done some calculations, and with what money I have right now, along what you guys have donated, if I can get another $630, I'll be in the clear. If anyone out there can spare that much, you can literally save my life here in this house, and if needed, can pay you back by the end of April.
To make matters worse I'm being admitted to the hospital right now due to something going wrong during my dialysis treatment today.

The object is to sell things to gain a certain amount of profits. Each character has a unique ability (Carpaccini sells items for 5% more than the sell price; Sauerkraut can hold 2 extra cards in her hand; etc.)
Treasure cards are main thing you'll be collecting, with varied selling prices and an attributes (shiny, historical, cool, useful, etc). Customers, found at the shop spaces, will buy the treasures you have. Some have additional quirks (pays extra for shiny objects, only buys useful items, can buy two items at once). You can also attempt to haggle them for extra cash, with the risk of selling at a discount.
Then there are the event cards, gotten by taking the alleyways, they are effects that can played on yourself or opponents (Can roll two dice to move next turn, can't haggle next customer, steal a treasure card from an opponent, etc).
The actual spaces on the board include: Dumpster spaces, where you draw the Treasure cards. You can have 3 Treasures in your hand at a time. Shopping spaces, where a Customer card is drawn to try to sell an item. Regardless of sale, the customer is discarded afterward. Alleyways, shortcuts that skip either the dumpster or shopping spaces, but lets you get event cards. Lady G spaces are basically Bowser spaces; misfortunes include paying her, swapping positions, discarding cards, or very rarely nothing.
