A fun bit of doodling, looks like the map of a city on a bay, actually salt works at La Hoya, Lanzarote. Largely drawn from aerial imagery cos my own photos were too oblique.

Determined to make a garment from this fab vintage fabric, but it needs a wash - wish me luck!

A flock of starlings against a cloudless sky at dusk. This photo captures a starling murmuration when the birds have formed a large shape like a spoon. In some areas the starlings are so close they form a black mass, in others they are more thinly spaced.

There's a cracking account of a meteor landing near Holkham in 1741. Pub in Royal Society Phil Trans in 1744. I really hoped to see evidence of the impact on lidar, but sadly not.

Unfortunately I did get to try much Norsk mat during my short visit, except for cinnamon buns! So here's my not Norsk Mat version

I saw an old cookbook in a Trondheim bookshop and loved the jacket design but the shop was closed so I drew my own version.

Flint is such a beautiful building material. There must be mountains of debitage somewhere!
