I was honestly fine with Romulus until the... Really really stupid ending that felt incredibly tacked on.
I am Tired of all of this to be honest. Chronic illness is exhausting lol.
Honestly at this point I might just put in a formal complaint about him specifically because none of my care in the past two years post diagnosis has been anything approaching helpful. He gave me one prescription two years ago and that's it. I've seen him twice since then.
I told him this and he was just like that's okay that's normal we expect that a bit and I asked a friend of mine who is a doctor, and he was very much "what the fuck? No!" to ANY amount of regularly shat blood.
Local NHS is strained bunches, I get that, but it does feel like I'm getting ignored.
But then this is the same guy who seems to think 13-14 ulcers in one section of my intestine is minor and maybe it is for Crohns but everywhere I look online is like "you should be severely ill", and considering how much blood I shit on a regular basis I'm not so sure.
I really want to know what was going through my IBD doctor's mind when he said I need a course on how to inject medication subcutaneously as though I've not been diabetic for uh *checks* twenty years. It's giving "hasn't read my notes at all".

Got 82% on my latest uni assignment. Two more to go! I was expecting to have done really badly this time but I should trust in how clever and smart I am. It's really not fair I have massive tits and I'm really funny AND talented. It's like. Save some for someone else.
As usual, assume I've seen pretty much all of the popular films you can think of as well as the hidden gems (for example: Savageland, Lake Mungo, Butterfly Kisses, Horror In a the High Desert, etc) because, well, I have. I've got a couple of YouTube ones on my tbw also.
So I've finished with Senritsu Kaiki for the third time (rewatching it after rewatching Occult, Noroi and a couple of other Shiraishi films) AND Mystery Documentary Q and I'm kind of sitting here twiddling my thumbs because there's not quite any found footage stuff like it.

I will defend pretty much every Alien film (except Prometheus and the ending of Romulus) and you should absolutely revisit Covenant. I think it's a little "subtext is for cowards" at times wrt what the Alien represents BUT. I also think it works.
"If horror is to be a buffer for audiences to process death and science fiction a reflection on how we are progressing through the 'now,' then Alien: Covenant is a rude wake up call."

Some really great local gigs at the moment. Several venues and promoters have been so excellent in their rosters.
He played some Cramps (one of my favourite bands), some Gun Club (another) and a lot of his own material (there's a crowd) and both supports were immensely cool. One local band and one widow of Alan Vega who's doing her own thing and absolutely rocking it.
