Sorry for the very delayed reply, not on here much. Great to meet you, what a fun weekend that was! Doing it all again this weekend at Thought Bubble in Harrogate.
Thanks James! Sorry for the late reply, been on holiday.
I've got a new series starting in the Phoenix Comic this August. Doing an adaptation of the Greek Myths has long been an ambition of mine and to see it finally being realised is very exciting.
Rest assured Fawn will return but in the meantime I hope you enjoy my retelling of the story of Perseus.
I'm hosting a Phoenix Comic illustration workshop on Sat 19th July at Waterstones, Lincoln High Street. 2-3pm, Β£5 per ticket. Tickets limited so book early.
I'll be helping you design your own comic character and then showing you how to create a comic page.
Signing and Sketching after the event.
LESS THAN 24hrs TO GO! So close now, if you haven't bagged yourself a copy of ROMO the WolfBoy yet head on over to Kickstarter and make it happen: kck.st/3FqdMcS
My good pal @ilyagraphic.bsky.social is in the final days of his kickstarter for his all ages graphic novel ROMO the WolfBoy. It's a beautiful piece of work that throughly deserves the backing so please head on over to kck.st/3FqdMcS and considering making a pledge to see him over the line.
Looks great. Thanks for sharing!
That's great! There are a fair few to spot.
Thanks Yasmin. Sorry I didnβt draw Tina but I couldnβt resist the gag.
Thank you so much!
Thank you
I was quite pleased with how clatters came out. Looks formidable!
A HUGE congratulations to everyone at @the-phoenix-comic.bsky.social celebrating issue 700 this week! SUCH an amazing achievement, and a testament to how much children love comics, and how many incredible comic creators we have. Shout out to @rdcomics.bsky.social for this incredible cover, too! π€©
This year I had the honour of producing the artwork for the 700th issue of the Phoenix Comic, reimagining a whole host of Phoenix characters as a superhero team. You can also grab the artwork as a huge A1 or A2 poster from the Phoenix shop by following this link: thephoenixcomic.shop/collections/...
This week is the SEVEN HUNDRETH issue of The Phoenix Comic featuring a beautiful cover by @rdcomics.bsky.social! Gorebrah is back for a space adventure with Wiffles, the helpful Goblin! Plus Susie & Shrug face manatee bureaucracy! Proud to be part of this comic with SO many amazing creators!!
Tried to include everyone that's been in the comic recently. It's always scary in case you forget anyone. The villinoo's ships were perfect for that top tier.
Do with them as you will. π
Ha, yeah, he looks very serious!
Thanks, James. Gorebrah looks pretty dashing I'd say.
Thanks Thiago, had to get the Thingamajigs in there somehow.
Hope you like my interpretation of Bunny, Monkey and Looshkin!
Thanks James! Of course this is the one week I didn't receive my copy yet. Always the way. Still think Spaceington is my fave on there. So heroic!
I just flat out can't turn my waist, or neck for that matter.
Bargain. I'm in!
I've just backed ROMO the Wolfboy by @ilyagraphic.bsky.social on Kickstarter. Show some support y'all for someone who has done so much for emerging talent in the UK comic industry.

Uncanny.
Awesome!
What a shame but yes, very fitting.
