"CoreCivic is the largest owner and operator of ICE and Border Patrol detention centers. ...Democratic Governors Association has taken in hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations from CoreCivic. These are...attempts by CoreCivic to influence state legislation."
That's news to me!
Even the wrestling fans are getting in there, get ICE the fuck out.
A Maine Coon lays in a gray fabric grow bag, for plants. She stares up at the human photographing her.
Don't forget to prepare your cat seeds for the spring.
Disgusting. Vote him OUT.
A lap covered in a gray plaid blanket, with a sketchbook open and a cat laying south of it, looking at the human. The sketchbook has a pencil drawing of a cat walking, with fabric draped over the cat. The fabric has a hole exposing the tip of the cat's tail and the front of the fabric exposes the cat's muzzle, chest, and arms. His little back feets also stick out under the drapery. He walks with his snoot and tail high.
I've had this idea bopping around in my head for a couple weeks.
A Tuxido cat being, quite simply, a white cat under a black sheet. A reverse ghost.
Need more drapery practice, but I love it β₯οΈπ

βNo room at the Innβ is a biblical reference about immigrants (Jesusβ parents) being turned away. Not the government. Way to go, Hilton! The 3rd Amendment protects private entities from having to house the government.

The schedule has gone from 17 routine shots to 11.
Some, like the one leading cause of hospitalization in American infants, will only be given to high risk groups.
Others will only be available after parents talk to a doctor.
The choice is on families now and that should scare us all.
The most common question I receive is how everyday citizens can help in the fight for democracy. My advice, take the first step, start with something small and see what works for you. Here are ten things all of us can do. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/10-t...
Some Good News!
"Because of our hard work and determination, we now have a federal court order prohibiting this illegal logging from moving forward."
The "greatest country in the world" can't afford the ACA but we can throw a big Hunger Games party and a UFC fight at the White House.
Hide your data, hide your wives.
ICE supposedly has the capability to monitor your activity on your phone without you knowing.
There's never been a better time to look into changing the OS on your phone to try to mitigate this.
"In May, Oklahoma approved standards requiring teaching the conspiracy, led by Donald Trump, that the 2020 election was stolen and treating the Covid lab leak theory as fact."
Well shit, look up your states' resent curriculum changes and keep an eye on them.
Facts:
1. The water AI data centers use to cool their servers is municipal water. Increase in municipal water use by AI data centers means less for you and me and at a higher cost.
2. The electricity AI data centers use to power their servers AND constantly train models also uses a lot of water.
Do these Dems belong to your state?
Vote 'em OUT!
This is why we wanted the shutdown to continue.
We can look forward to 2x, 3x, 4x premium costs while we line the pockets of billionaires. π
This isn't democracy. This is oligarchy.
It's no longer "what if we could get every consumer to pay the maximum they can or are willing to pay".
It's already happening.
You already pay more than someone else does for the same exact products.
Who is to blame? The corporations putting their pinky on the scales.
Eat the rich.

THE AMERICAN WORKER IS ALL OF US. Black, white, Latino, Asian, Native, immigrant, union or not. Not the βworking classβ stereotype.
We built this country. We keep it running. Stop dividing. Start recognizing.
I have a lot to say

The rich do not care about you.
Trump doesn't care about you being able to "afford" to survive.

I missed MASS BLACKOUT day EIGHT
because we were travelling for a trip I booked back in September.
I did support Uber for one ride to the hotel, but other than that only food at small restaurants!
Eight days wasn't that bad. We did a shorter blackout earlier in the year. Ten days next time maybe?
I was also out of windshield wiper fluid and with the snow we've accumulated that is now melting into slush...needed that asap.
There is ONE independently-owned convenience store in my city, and I went out of my way to stop there. Got my ww fluid!
