I see Farage is off to Mar-a-Lago to talk down Britain and suck up to Trump.
There's nothing patriotic about cheering on a foreign leader whose illegal war is sending British familiesβ energy bills through the roof.

At #PMQs yesterday, I asked the Prime Minister to visit my old school - #Woking High - with me, to see itβs crumbling classrooms and ensure that it urgently gets the funding it needs so my young constituents learn in a school fit for the 21st Century.
The Home Secretary is chasing Reform to get headlines while failing on the bigger problems of dangerous small boat crossings and use of hotels. This measure is a red herring that will only add more bureaucracy - which they wonβt be able to cope with!

Week by week - Laura Kuenssberg is interviewing the party leaders.
When I agreed to come on the show, I was told Nigel Farage was also doing it.
He's now pulled out - and they've sent the deputy instead.
The same Nigel Farage who's refusing to debate me.
A pattern emerging...
Streeting accuses trusts and ICBs of seeking to cut deficits too sharply
Reading in the HSJ this morning that βStreeting accuses trusts and ICBs of seeking to cut deficits too sharplyβ is probably the closest Iβve come an apoplectic stroke in my life.
Delighted to be out campaigning with Attia Aslam and Zaf Rasab - the @libdems.org.ukβ candidates for #Woking North in Mayβs elections. Know they will make a great team to represent Horsell, Maybury, Sheerwater and Woodham on our new West #Surrey Council.

Itβs clear to anyone paying attention that Farage wonβt investigate the Russian infiltration of Reform.
The Prime Minister must step up and launch a national investigation.

"Kemi Badenoch has chosen to back Nigel Farage and join Vladimir Putin by leaving the European Convention on Human Rights β a proud British creation championed by Churchill that protects everyone's rights and freedoms. "This will do nothing to stop the boats or fix our broken immigration system β problems caused by the last Conservative Government that Badenoch still hasn't apologised for. "I say to former One Nation Conservatives who have been abandoned by their partyβs lurch to the extremes: you have a home with us. The Liberal Democrats will always fight to defend our fundamental British freedoms and the rule of law." Ed Davey

BBC News headline reads "Ex-Reform politician admits Russia-linked bribery charges"
Doing Putinβs bidding? That is Trumpβs America, donβt let it become Farageβs Britain.
We need a new inquiry by the Intelligence and Security Committee into Reform and Farage's links to Russia.
When Lib Dem members pass motions at Conference they go on to become Party policy and actually go into the manifesto at a General Election, unlike the Labour motions. π€

Text of an email response to a censored @dailymail.co.uk address. It states in summary that because the Daily Mail is one of the main protagonists of the anti-trans movement in British media, our co-chair has no faith that any response will be presented in a fair or balanced manner, and declines to comment further. It is significantly politer than the first initial draft.
Yesterday, we received an email from a Daily Mail journalist asking us to comment on the attempt by a trans-exclusionary group to change our party's rules. For the avoidance of doubt, or misrepresentation of our position, we reproduce our response in full here...

The BBC is our national broadcaster, people expect and deserve balanced news coverage.
It's clear to everyone the BBC is giving Nigel Farage and Reform far too much coverage.

Seems like they want two instead of one big unitary. Similar debate is going on in Surrey with the County Council wanting two and most of the local boroughs wanting three unitaries.
About five of them were on a roundabout in Woking the other week. Wish I could have taken pictures : the claims were hilarious. Who is organising them though?

We are incredibly disappointed that @surreycc.gov.uk have appeared to have closed down avenues for #Surrey MPs to raise our constituents' #SEND cases with the council. We Surrey @libdems.org.uk have written to Cllr Clare Curran to share our profound concerns. β
Important school news for #Woking: Greenfield School and @hoebridgeschool.bsky.social will merge. #Woking Borough Council will talk to the new school about the loan they made to them. The Council will pursue all necessary steps to secure the repayment of these loans.
Nationaly Over 60% of delays are attributed to Netwok Rail problems (signal issues, points failures, landslides) plus suicides and trespass incidents. I am not sure the problems are all down to South Western Railway. Hopefully you will be holding Network Rail to account.

The disruption caused to #Woking residents and businesses by the closure of Victoria Way is unacceptable. I have written to the contractor, Sir Robert McAlpine Limited, to demand urgent action and a full and public explanation of why these problems have happened.

A black and white photo - a 10-ton railway wagon has its side down. On top of it and leaning up by its side there are Christmas trees. Two people unload whilst standing on the wagon, whilst by its side two others receive them.
Today's Christmas railway history post: Christmas trees being unloaded at the London & South Western Rly's Nine Elms Goods station in Dec 1906. They would soon be auctioned off. Buyers from the merchants at Covent Garden and elsewhere would visit the station before Christmas, hopeful that they...
