Council passed Carlinaβs bill to fix a gap in supportive housing rules, ensuring time spent incarcerated counts toward eligibility. This will help break cycles of homelessness, improve health, reduce recidivism, and restore stability for our most vulnerable neighbors.
π΄πΆπ³ Carlina joined colleagues + advocates to celebrate a milestone for NYCβs greenway network - the rollout of her law requiring a citywide plan. Safer rides, more walking space and nature access - a big step toward a greener, healthier, more connected city!

Last year, we fought hard to restore the mayorβs cuts to 7-day service. This year, 11 new branches will have Sunday service thanks to the $2M we proposed and secured.
