I’m sure there’s truth to this accelerant merging of tech corporate and state power. But seeing how quickly this sentiment was co-opted by a white liberal to fearmonger about China is why I don’t want to obfuscate the explicit white nationalism as a motivating force behind this effort.
Umm “social credit” —That’s been debunked a long time ago but way to project some weird Sinophobic fearmongering trope to externalize the fascism of your own white nationalist govt!
