I read an article saying he appealed more to moderate donors than her "left leaning", but later quotes a republican calling him a "woke nutjob".
Meanwhile, it never reflects on the reasoning of prog voters at all, just racial bases and swing votes.
So even the professional analysts don't get it.
I think the realistic consensus was "both fairly left, either definitely better than republican options, but she's connected to aipac"
I think it literally boiled down to "white Christian = right, black woman = left"
