on the left, ember, a cream-colored cow girl, describes her outfit: a vivienne tam mesh top, an alexander mcqueen a/w '98 joan skirt, and grounds' moopie inverts for shoes. an arrow that points to her right says "Just Completely Giving The Fuck Up" denotes a total loss of previous identity. she's unrecognizably huge, filling a couch armrest-to-armrest, groaning and wailing with her snout to the sky. stained with gainer shake from an industrial ceiling-mount hose, she mourns the last good shirt in her wardrobe - a far cry from the designer mesh she used to fit. fast food bags and textile scraps of the past litter the carpet. she rests a pudgy hoof on the grounds shoebox, now only serving as a footrest and a faint memory of the life she gave away. she accepts the loss of clothing, but deep down, there's a touch of exhausted relief - she no longer has to pretend to be anything else.
