I sadly had to miss the final PAMELA Reading Group this week but I’m very excited about discussing SHAMELA next week, Fielding’s parody. I bought this edition tho & am now reading Haywood’s ANTI-PAMELA (feat. heroine Syrena Tricksy) and that is bloody brilliant!!!

Yes I would say so! We were on holiday for a week in Sussex and we went over for the day, it was nice! (Not sure I’d go again but I enjoyed it!)
I’ve been there- lovely town! And IIRC I visited Lamb House which is where HJ lived…
Putting the finishing touches to my talk for this #webinar on 18 March, and Edward Thomas has made me weep again... Join us to travel from William the Conqueror's New Forest, to Queen Victoria on the Isle of Wight, to Thomas at home in the village of Steep before going to fight in the Great War.
