Rings Culture dominates. The Pacers’ ‘26 season should be entirely about setting up for success in 27 and 28. This isn’t about prioritizing losing. It’s about getting ready to win.
One issue I see with this is that it’s not ALL about draft position.
Take draft incentives out of it entirely, and the Pacers still have a strong rationale for managing minutes for guys like Pascal, Drew, etc. Furphy JUAT tore his ACL last week. Resting guys IS prioritizing winning in the future.
This could be helpful for people with mobility issues, but other than that…just WHY?
