A walk up and around Dundry on Saturday we saw a few birds that included a pair of Stonechat, 5 Buzzards, a Red Kite and several Skylarks as well as the usual suspects.
Managed to find the Firecrest at Lords Wood again this afternoon, not so lucky with the Crossbills today. #avonbirds
Also saw 6 Redwing, Goldcrest, 1 Firecrest as week as all the usual birds at Lords Wood. #avonbirds
Finally managed to catch a glimpse of the Crossbills at Lords Wood this afternoon. We saw about 10 in the end. #avonbirds
A nice surprise this morning to see a Little Egret in the river Frome, St Judes. #avonbirds
Managed to catch a pair of Kingfishers along the river Frome at Eastville Park. #avonbirds
Also see the Ring-necked duck amongst the Tufted Ducks and a Goldeneye at Herons Green.
Finally managed to see a Mediterranean Gull as well as a great Egret, Several Cattle Egrets and a Water Rail at Herons Green Bay this afternoon.

A quick visit between the rain to Battery Point in Portishead this morning managed to see 5 Purple Sandpipers, 2 curlews, an Oyster Catcher and a Rock Pipit.
A quick stop off at Herons Green Bay before the school pick up saw all the usual suspects as well as the Ring-necked duck, Marsh Harrier and the Greylag Goose.

I went for a walk there this afternoon to see if I could see them, but didn't have any luck.
Walking the dogs around Hengrove mound and the old Airfield and saw 5 Redwings a Great Spotted Woodpecker as well as the usual Crows, Magpies Blue Tits and Blackbirds. Unfortunately only had my phone camera.

After having the lurgy it was nice to get out with the camera again. Some of my highlights between Woodford Lodge and The Dam at Chew Valley, was a Buzzard, Bullfinch and Goldeneye. Also saw a group of 14 Tufted ducks, 2 Great Crested Grebe

Saw this little one waddling along by the Canal in Birmingham this morning trying to make friends with a pair of Canada geese. A Domestic Muscovy Duck. (I think).
