No. But they did email me asking me to help promote their game, and I canβt see why not.

This surreal multi-dimensional TTRPG looks pretty cool: www.kickstarter.com/projects/exa...
Worth a listen now this lot have won

This is really excellent expert analysis and well explained and should be part of a public service broadcaster's remit. As it is CPP is another lefty crowdfunded project (that I'm happy to support). If I win Euromillions I'll become the Rupert Murdoch of left wing media.
π¨ Big news for the littlest New Yorkers: 2-K is coming.

Listening to this is a reminder of how ever green this article is
Who wouldnβt?
i remember thinking in 2016 that it would lead to a massive realignment in british politics, on the order of whig/tory to liberal/conservative. the fault lines exposed seemed so great
the years since have eroded my certainty, but looking at the polls turn into reform/green... maybe it's back on!
Here is the long-awaited emergency podcast from me and @profafinlayson.bsky.social on the Gorton & Denton by-election.

This is not a reasoned political response. Labour has spent two years making all the voting groups who backed the Greens feel unwelcome and unheard, and now attacks them for daring to back someone else. They believe Labour isnβt listening and Starmer seems determined to prove them right
Struck by how Hannah Spencer's brilliant victory speech is a broadside against neoliberal meritocracy β like so many other (esp. female working-class) voices right now. This is exactly what Bev Skeggs & I discuss in our new article, 'Social Mobility is a Joke':

No surprises, surely?
Candidate is arrogant charmless TV presenter & hates everything: lose.
Campaign is entitled technocracy + smearing left-liberalism: lose.
Candidate is local & can make OK speech about how a good job should lead to a good life: win.
Normal politics is trying to be born.
Lol
He wandered long and lonely for many years though.
Absolutely correct on all counts. (They got a new king who came from the North who everybody knew was the true king.)

Being on the Labour left today feels like being a battle-weary veteran in the army of Gondor, waking to the news that those brave little hobbits have only gone and destroyed the ring after all.
Just heard researcher Jilly Kay discussing the βreactionary feministβ βfemosphereβ on a pod. What she said was fascinating β making this nonetheless objectionable and disturbing stuff understandable in the context of our present economic reality..
www.theguardian.com/world/2024/d...
so you point out some of parallels and synergies with blue labour
but it could be argued that the characterisation of reactionary feminism as "improving the conditions of women within patriarchy" mirrors labourism as "improving the conditions of the working class within capitalism"
Fantastic interview with Jilly Kay about her recent research into reactionary feminisms. And yes, these weird new kinds of right-wing anti-politics really are, of a kind, 'feminisms'. Check it out here or search for culture, power, politics in any app: culturepowerpolitics.org/2026/02/23/r...

This bangs. I esp liked the point that despite all the ideological accoutrements - evolutionary psychology, pseudo science of intelligence etc to justify their positions - the super wealth reproduce the most banal and incorrigible cultural products
Really important project to coordinate against the far right

Thanks Johan, that's very good of you to say so. Yes ACFM is on Novara, but it's been a long time since I was asked onto any of the other Novara shows.
Only about the Labour Party?! ;)
