Merry Christmas from London, folks π
On one of my sojourns, deep into the Sahara. It's a stunning landscape that I'll miss when I leave.
Superb!
Direct...and to the point...π³
This can get in the bin.
Something tells me that my week in North Wales is going to be a tad different...

I suspect a coyote did this.
Photo of a Bronze Age socketed axe head with a zoomed in thumbnail of a finger print on one of the faces towards the blade edge. The axe is dark green with oxidation and the surface of the blade edge has been lost.
Thereβs something extraordinary about this otherwise pretty standard Late Bronze Age axehead:
A human fingerprint. A real, visible and tangible connection to someone from 3000 years ago. If that doesnβt give you goosebumps, idk what will. π₯Ή

Can we all stop kidding ourselves about carrots and broccoli?
This is 90% of why we like a Sunday lunch...

Not sure why, but that resembles a cat hiding behind a much bigger cat.
Weird.
Also..,
Dropped in the bath.

Dog opinions matter too! ππβ€οΈ
A fluffy black moorhen chick with a red and yellow beak paddles at the margins of a pond contemplating whether or not to go for a swim.
A muddle-minded mini moorhen, meekly meandering the mossy margins, most miffed at the mere mention of moisture.

They make a welcome change from the critters I'm used to dealing with!
There's only so many scorpions, snakes and camel spiders that I can cope with. Do love the desert though.

I've seen a lot of animals in the wild on my various travels. However, when back in London, I visit the zoo.
Nothing like the sight of penguins!
I could literally stay here forever.
Discontinued in 2023.
Hence the easiness of the challenge.
I think Fanta Pineapple and Grapefruit is the same stuff.
I personally find Dryanuary a huge challenge.
Not as straightforward as 'No Lilt February'...
How's the weather where you are?
It's a little on the warm side here...
Seeing all the mother's day post reminds me of the card that the boy got for me for the last father's day.
He bought a birthday card by mistake but 'fixed it' with some tape and a pencil...
I picture a sparrow mistaking it for a bird feeder and now I won't sleep tonight...
