Bait & Switch Wondrous Item, Rare What may seem like two unrelated items are actually a pair bonded by an inseparable magical connection. Bait is a cloth bag with a drawstring at the top. It is seemingly filled with glimmering gold coins that are actually simple pieces of wood enchanted with illusory magics to resemble gold. Switch is a tiny flying construct that constantly tries to return to Bait when they are separated. You can use an action to place Bait in a location. It will naturally settle into position and shed a few illusory coins around it to sell the ruse. Creatures that are unaware of the nature of Bait can attempt to ascertain its nature with a DC 17 Arcana skill check. On a success, they know that the coins are illusory, but do not understand the nature of the other magics at play on this item. Once per day, when a creature that is unaware of the true nature of Bait touches the pouch, Bait and the creature are instantly teleported up to 100 feet away into the space that Switch currently occupies. Simultaneously, Switch is teleported to the same space that Bait previously occupied and begins trying to make its way back to Bait. Switch has a fly speed of 30 feet, 5 Hit Points, and an AC of 15. If Switch is destroyed, a new one can be built at a cost of 50 GP. If Switch is further away than 100 feet when a creature touches Bait, the magic fails and the creature is not teleported. A creature that is aware of Bait’s nature can harmlessly pick it up after speaking a chosen command word. This ability resets at dawn.

Lover’s Vow Wondrous item, very rare They say that the bonds of love are stronger than any hand-crafted material, but the bonds of this shared locket might be even stronger. This trinket is formed from two metals, forged into interlocked hands and an ornamented braid that displays the shape of a heart. It comes with two chains that hang from the top of each of the braided portions of the locket. When two creatures place the chains of this locket around their neck simultaneously, a mutual connection is formed. The locket bursts with a crackling spark of red tinged magic and both parties can smell the distinct scent of a rose for a few moments. After this, the interlocked hands separate and the locket splits into two halves, one worn by each party. The lockets cannot be removed after placing it around your neck by any means other than a wish spell. As long as we both shall live. When one creature wearing a half of the locket dies by any means including failed death saves, massive damage, or a spell both halves of the locket burst in a flash of crackling magics resembling a small firework. The smell of roses hangs thick in the air as the creature that died suddenly vanishes and reappears in the safest empty space next to the creature wearing the other half of the locket. They reappear with half of their hit points, rounded down, and cleansed of any conditions they had when they died. Both halves of the locket are destroyed when this happens.
