So many standout snippets — Shaq, the Haw Creek stories, the preview of the new Wednesday — but I most enjoyed knowing that MJ & Katie Crutchfield & Kevin Morby bonded while watching a basketball series that broke my spirit.
Holy hell. This is a kamikaze biography. This is one of those musician profiles that’s so thorough that it makes it damn near impossible for any music journalist to profile that artist again. What a read.
