Good things can still happen, even if it's just at the local level.
This has been a contentious issue in on our community. A lot of my neighbors have been complaining about the potential costs. As someone who uses the library, whose family uses it though, and who runs programs there every month... this will be a huge benefit for our town.

Emulation never stopped me from buying games - on the contrary, by being able to play the out-of-print classics "for free" it left me more money to buy new games with.
I rarely emulate anymore, but keeping that option available is GOOD for the games industry, despite what the greedy suits say.

I ran one of my self-written #DND one shots for the second time tonight and I genuinely think it might be one of the better adventures I've written. I think I might need to do something more with it than just putting the print out in a folder for another day...

I don't have every set, but the ones that create "permanent" structures typically come with clips to hold everything together.
Their customer service is really helpful, too. I reached out just recently hoping to purchase some individual pieces outside of their usual sets. They arranged a custom order and shipped it out the same day. I couldn't be more pleased.
Are you #DungeonMaster looking for some nice and easily transportable terrain for #DND games on the go? I would highly recommend Dirt Cheap Dungeons. I run 5+ games out of the house a month and their stuff is by far the easiest I've found in terms of on-the-fly setup.

I'm legitimately a bit sad about #Nintendo not really doing anything to acknowledge the 40th anniversary of #TheLegendofZelda. As much as I enjoy Mario, Zelda was a much more formative experience for me from the NES era onward. I still get excited about new announcements, celebrations, etc.
