Misty has been given the all clear. Scan showed no blocked bladder, though scaring was observed from a severe infection and damage from calcium oxalate crystals (bladder stones). Extended antibiotic treatment has cleared the infection, he just needs to be monitored at home for now.

Kidneys are significantly higher than normal range but controllable with diet. Urinalysis shows infection.

He requires scans to rule out bladder and kidney cancer, blocked bladder or cystitis

Misty update:

Responding to broad spectrum antibiotics and blood in urine has lessened. He can come home but will be subjected to a battery of scans on Monday.

Blood test came back for everything except liver and kidneys. Liver is only slightly above normal range, no concern.

Another cosmic perspective... A depressing one that politicians still fail to recognise.

Misty might be nearing the end of his life. Urinating blood, losing weight, and vomiting. He is currently being after by the vet. Either his kidneys are failing or he has something worse.
