βWhen White House staff feel confident in their internal processes and in each other, thereβs little incentive to speak out of turn. The rupture between Stephen Miller and DHS could prove to be a major breaking point for the administration.β www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/white-h...
itβs easy to get discouraged about politics. But the implosion of this once-juggernautβuntil quite recently untouchableβdidnβt happen by accident.

with ICE and Epstein dominating the news, this is getting overshadowed -- but it may be the most consequential if we want free and fair elections this November.

In 2022, Donald Trump sued me and others associated with the Clinton campaign for RICO. We did not cave. We fought. First, we won in a Florida trial court. Today, we won in the 11th Circuit.
To the law firms, media corps and billionaires who bow down: Learn a lesson. Have some dignity and fight.

So the next time you read a hit piece on a Democrat who called them out or see some self-righteous bullshit about how they seek the truth without fear or favor, pull out this email and ask: What did the NY Times know and when did they know it? You will get nothing but crickets from them in response.
Not only was the Times obsessed with Hillary Clinton's emails while ignoring emails about Donald Trump sent to its own reporter, but since then it has constantly attacked anyone who dared look into questions of Trump's character. All with sanctimony.
Now we know it was all a big lie.
On Dec. 8, 2015, Jeffrey Epstein offers a NY Times reporter photos of Donald Trump and "girls in bikinis in my kitchen." Epstein tells the reporter that he "gave" Trump his "20 year old girlfriend...after two years."
When people looked into these type of rumors the Times smugly criticized them.
I don't think legacy media is reading the room correctly on the Epstein Files. Many of us are asking why they have ignored this story for the last decade? Why did they dismiss all of us who were concerned that Trump might be compromised? And where is their fucking contrition and apology now?
I started Democracy Docket in 2020 to be fiercely independent and proudly pro-democracy. Unlike CBS, it owes nothing to the White House and seeks no favors from them. It has no corporate overlords, no venture capital investors, and no billionaires pulling strings.

I tuned in to the @60minutes Trump interview with low expectations, and I havenβt bern surprised. Norah let Trump lie and lie with barely any pushback or provision of corrective facts. Where is the Aussie guy from @axios when we need him?

The National Archives under the Trump administration released @mikiesherrill.bsky.social full, unredacted Navy personnel file to Jack Ciattarelli's campaign.
This is an unprecedented and illegal weaponization of the National Archives and private, personal records to attack a political opponent.
We just won our lawsuit against the DHS after a judge ruled the department can't hold life-saving disaster relief funds hostage to advance its anti-immigration efforts.

Marc Elias, one of the Democratic Partyβs most prominent lawyers, welcomed any converts to his brand of brass-knuckle politics.
