I was not born and raised in NYC and I hold a lot of space for those who were. That being said, for those mad about congestion pricing, I offer the idea that it is a miracle that this subway system even exists. There’s not a rat or psychopath or performing acrobat that makes me think otherwise.
The average speed of a car in NYC is 7 miles per hour. The horn honkers are likely the same people screaming about the new congestion pricing mandate. Something about their rage now costing $9 feels appropriate to me. Feel better.
