Shout out to all the local Pakistani and Chinese restaurants and their staff who will be working Christmas.

As the manager at Royal Kabob told me, "Brother, we're always open. Even on the Day of Judgement, we'll be open."

Respect.

A grid of photos showing four different city intersections, with the photos taken in the 1920s and in the 1980s. The locations are: chestnut St., Bryant Park, MET, downtown Crossing.

Apparently citydwellers in the US are walking 15% faster than they did in 1980

some academics got video of four major intersections -- shot in 1979-80 and again in 2008-10

people walked faster; lingered less; more likely to be alone

Pentagram leads the new era of craft Pentagram, renowned for its exceptional design work and widely regarded as one of the most admired agencies in our field, has consistently exemplified creativity and innovation.

The use of generative AI by Pentagram in a government project marks a significant turning point for design. Has the famed agency embraced the future or abandoned the very soul of design?

It’s so nice to be at the stage of a lifetime of a platform when everyone mostly agrees the people running it are working hard and doing a good job. Let’s enjoy that while we can!

Have you tried any Korean brands? HaruHaru Wonder and Skin1004 are both solid. But for spf I also like Thrive Causmetics filtered effects protecting primer.

Drake just signed a legal document acknowledging "Not Like Us" did him great harm.

Is this not the biggest defeat in hip-hop history?

Hi Om! Good to see you on BS (is that what people call this? because it’s a great acronym for social media). Too bad your site unfurls as simply stupid here though.

Yeah, great interview. I liked Pete’s points about how much the hungry business models have influenced IoT products. I feel like wearables are suffering a similar fate. I wonder if cheaper chips and sensors can provide an environment to build less ambitious but more practical products.

It is so incredibly nice to have a social platform that values links again - a breath of fresh air in the poisoned ecosystem of the creator economy
