The Department of Justice released a batch of previously unreleased documents from the Epstein files that include notes from FBI interviews with a woman who says she was assaulted by President Trump when she was a minor. https://to.pbs.org/47dPTQA
The killing of Iranian children during an illegal war is an impeachable offense (not to mention a grave crime) and Congress should really act like it.
15 Republicans in the Senate could end this nightmare before it somehow gets even worse.
Looking forward to finding out why this administration has started this war
this is like
the thesis statement of our times
Hegseth needs to stand trial after this as a war criminal. Between this attack and the girls' school, there's no ambiguity. He is responsible for mass murder and must be held accountable.
“A DOJ source told the Miami Herald that agents found her to be credible—and that they would not have interviewed her four times if they thought she was lying.”

I saw where President Obama, basically said the same thing. It’s accurate
And then eats a pint of ice cream.
Trump’s Waterloo: Iran war.
I’m not an expert, but this war doesn’t seem very good
Mayor Mamdani and a child play with Legos while looking very serious and concentrated. The child is impossibly adorable and wearing tiny blue glasses.
No interruptions, please. We’re building universal child care.
The Crook-In-Chief robs the US of $1.6 BILLION with his (paid for) pardons alone. That's only so far and he's only getting started.
America has a long history of pointless and wasteful military adventurism. And in our quest to normalize Trump we’ve stuck his Iran war in that box: “another war, just like the rest.” It’s not like the rest. It’s an act of insanity, rogue state behavior. Don’t know how this ends until we admit it.
But because of their suffocating conviction that everything is always Fundamentally Normal, that America is a place where nothing ever really happens or changes, those same people are incapable of recognizing the enormity of what we’re doing, when we’re the ones doing it.
It’s lunacy, madman stuff. We’re just going around killing whoever we feel like, with zero regard for the law OR the consequences! If any other country were doing it our political class would say, probably rightfully, that there was an urgent necessity for their leaders to eat a cruise missile.
Having faced no consequences for anything, Trump has noticed that he has the world’s largest military at his command, and believes he has found a brilliant solution for solving problems that no one before him was smart enough to discover: just kill everyone in your way, until they obey you.
Trump has fully shattered the world we all grew up in. It’s a dramatic break from how things worked before, even compared to the Iraq War and other misadventures - the United States abruptly tumbling over a cliff and becoming literally more reckless and domineering than Putin’s Russia.
Yeah, and we did all of that when we registered to vote, fuckwad.
Go away.
Trump has dragged the United States into a reckless, illegal war with Iran.
A war launched with no imminent threat to our country.
Congress must step up and oppose Trump’s new endless war in the Middle East.

I am not trying to do the whole "everything's a distraction" thing, but the DOJ holding onto specific allegations about Trump assaulting a minor and releasing them after a war against Iran has taken center stage is, uh... noteworthy timing.
Documents reveal a web of financial ties between Trump officials and the industries they help regulate:
ProPublica is releasing a trove of disclosure records that detail the finances of more than 1,500 Trump appointees who declined to identify former clients.
“The strongest society is the one that makes life easier for the weakest.”
Neil deGrasse Tyson
New: Democrats asked a federal court to block Trump's 250-ft arch.
Under law, Congress must approve certain monuments in DC.
“This is a straightforward issue of who’s in charge,” @SenAngusKing said.
They also mocked the "vanity" project.
“This is not Pyongyang,” @RepHuffman told me.
This has nothing to do with the specific content here, but Polymarket adopting the language of news, here with BREAKING, and with Texas election results earlier this week, is BAD. Polymarket is not and will never be a news org or break news. It's a betting app. It's Draft Kings for sociopaths.
