This week’s 5x5 was The Neighbourhood, The Slackers, Lady Gaga, Mega Infinity, The Pomps, Bruno Mars, Drain, Runaway Ricochet, Bad Operation and more random stuff from various playlists 🎵
Tbf they definitely write stuff down as we can see our medical notes in the NHS app - but it’s quite rushed… and full of abbreviations etc and I’m not sure how much time they have to read everything before 😅 I just think they have so little time that they can’t check in much depth.
The most frustrating thing about going to the doctors is that I never see the same person so even though they have my records, I have to explain everything again each time 😴
I mean, the thought of no phone for a few days was appealing but then I remembered my TikTok streak with Craig 🤣 and also the more important fact I need it for 2fa more than once a day (which I did say). Person said “Have you not got another phone you could use?” - is that a common thing?!
Went to try and get my iPhone battery replaced by EE - wanted me to leave my phone with them for three days until they get a battery in. I asked if I could just come back with my phone when they have the battery - they said no 😒 I was polite but they seemed annoyed with me for not wanting to do that
Is it bad that I can’t actually be bothered to post about IWD? I know technically this is me posting about it, but you know what I mean.
About a third of the way through my antibiotics now. Ear is still a bit achy, feels full and I had ringing in it earlier. Not really feeling like it’s back to normal yet. Hmm I really hope this works cos don’t want to have to go back to the doc.

Google Drive has changed the way that the folders display in the app so that the text is above the icon, instead of below… and I’m not sure this is a change I’m ever gonna get used to. Keep opening the wrong folders 😒
Almost as annoying as when they changed the shortcut for renaming folders (web).

My antibiotics finally arrived today - amoxicillin. Five days and I really hope they work! I think I had this medicine as a child, but it was liquid form and it tasted of banana and I got told off for spitting it out on the floor 😆

Decided that Manic Panic’s Pillarbox Red is the hair dye I like best 😍 I left it on for two hours the other day and it’s hardly faded despite having washed it three times since then 💃 and you can mix it with other colours - sometimes I use Psychedelic Sunset 🧡

I actually forgot it was Bandcamp Friday this week and bought it on Tuesday 🤦🏻♀️
Despite the sadness, I don’t avoid the song - I actually just bought the album on cd and the piano music.

Always the intro to Katy Perry - Witness. It was the album I had on repeat at the time when my mum was ill, so it reminds me of that (and therefore her) 🖤 I guess grief is always there but not always there

Yeaaah! It’s one of my favourite films (along with Clueless). The soundtrack is great. I’m glad you got to see them in the end.
On the Clueless soundtrack I love the outro track which is by General Public - for years it wasn’t on streaming or iTunes so I had to buy a cd off eBay from America!
