Puberty blockers only exist because cis kids develop precocious puberty (sometimes as young as 5) - and I say only because of course they were not researched to help trans people. It is a minor miracle we have so many effective treatments possible due to cis medicines!

Blockers are as compromise!

If they are under 10 it is fine. Whether they are trans or not, then suddenly you get other changes in growth hormones, bone things. Ultimately if you left someone in Blockers until 18 they would have bone density loss (like some post-menopausal women without HRT).

So give them HRT.
