tbf Iran has always been reasonable in it's dealings with the US, against all logic due to the US being erratic and untrustworthy.

Personally if I was the Dems and I kept losing to a reality tv show host because of shunning and disenfranchising my voting base, I would be on my hands and knees trying to win back their favor rather than screaming at them for being ungrateful.

Every future target does not bear that excuse out, the US has specifically been targeting hospitals, schools, and culture. They have purposefully chosen civilian targets. They share Israel's desire to ethnically cleanse Arabs.
