Actually saw it in the theater with another wargamer. He was so angry.
That would work.
Love those A&A figures.

Gun and some commanders finished. 25mm Foundry and Warlord figures.
It definitely looks interesting.
Just arrived. Do I need another set of rules? Ya, that's not the point of any of this. Got my little Genoese company of adventure. Maybe we'll meet William Gold. IYKYK
Just arrived!
WIP. A big gun and some commanders: Bartolomeo d'Alviano and Giovanni delle Bande Nere. Foundry and Warlord figures and a printed cannon!
Either that was one unlucky guy to get three bolts at once (maybe the besiegers were waiting for a target) or the helmet got reused three times, and then tossed as "unlucky"
Painting and rebasing fun. Finished another unit of Crimean War British infantry, and rebased ebay purchased British cavalry--I could identify 11th hussars, 17th lancers, 6th dragoons, and a whole lot of Scots Greys. Found some jpegs of guidons. 25mm Foundry and Warlord figues, mostly.
If you see this, post a dragon.
Officers. Brigade of Guards well represented. 25mm Foundry figures and contrast paints.
Interesting. I never shade until all the base colors are on. I am given to understand the jannisary ortas had uniform colors per orta
In between shoveling snow, finished basing the 55th. 25mm Foundry figures. Somebody else's paint job.
WIP. 55th foot, Crimean war. 25mm Foundry figures. Ebay purchase, already very nicely painted. I just found the flags and stands.
WIP. The British are coming! Now for the British portion of that ebay haul. The brigade of Guards, a blue faced regiment with a 7 on their packs, so must be the 7th Royal Fusiliers. Lord Raglan and staff, giving out vague orders, and some guns. 25mm Foundry, Warlord, and maybe Frontier figures.
WIP. Crimean War British command, some more British Guards, French cuirassier brigade command. Yes, that's right, a brigade of French cuirassiers was sent to the Crimea. 25mm Foundry figures, some from a monster painted ebay purchase, others painted later.
"French staff group", 25mm Foundry figures, from their FPW line, but we all know it's Napoleon III, having a bad day, week, month, and year.
WIP. French staff group, 1870. 25mm Foundry figures. "Where the hell is Bazaine?"
Yes, I find adding additional tufts and flowers is good.
Can't have a Napoleonic French army without some Imperial Guard Grenadiers. 25mm Frontier figures, again with a Foundry officer in petite tenue, and a couple of sword waving officers who I suspect are actually ACW confederates.
I got good results.
2nd Empire French, Voltiguers of the Imperial Guard. 25mm Frontier figures, and a Foundry officer.
WIP. Voltiguers of Napoleon III's Imperial Guard, resplendent in their full dress uniforms. 25mm Frontier figures and a Foundry officer. An ebay purchase of painted and unpainted (but now painted) figures that will finally see the table top. 25mm Frontier figures, and a Foundry officer.
Looking back at my posts, looks like I've painted 800+ figures this year, mostly 25/28mm, completing several decade-old projects.
The pile of shame decreases some.
Try Space wolf Gray. Although the 1914 over coats were probably closer to Levadon blue.
WIP. Next up, Voltiguers and Grenadiers of the Guard. Napoleon III's imperial guard wore blue trousers and an habit-like coat with turn backs in the Crimea. The original painter put them in red trousers, and I am fixing that. The left figure is after repainting and shading. 25mm Frontier figures.
And ready for the table.
