"Nah. Total silence and then 'hi ho wolverhampton' will do"

Hi @metrolink.bsky.social Do you have any plans to ban/put up signs to stop antisocial behaviour? Feet on seat, phones blaring music, vaping, are a constant these days on the Airport-City Centre line.
I feel the "I like a small squad" guys are either naively copying what Guardiola says or have underestimated the impact of the English game. Probably both.
Unless you're willing to play a shadow League Cuo and FA Cup side, you need a decent size squad to survive in this league.
I also can't be fucked with a manager who naively states that he likes a small squad. Maybe so, pal, but you're small squad with get DECIMATED by the number of games we play in this league.
You can't have players in the squad who you pretty much have no interest in playing. It's a wasted space.
Same with Endo for CM.
Going into the season with Chiesa as 4th and 5th choice wide players and then refusing to start them is absolutely horrific squad planning.
Gakpo was 0/1 and Salah 0/4 for dribbles last night.
Ngumoha and arguably Chiesa have to start some games now. We can't continue with this pair failing to take on a man all game.
We produce almost nothing with them on the pitch then frantically change it almost every game. By which point three quarters of the match have passed and we're susceptible to a sucker punch.
Letting Salah and Gakpo have absolute stinkers time and time again is a great example of this.
They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Happens nearly every game with their wingers vs ours and happened today with their CMs vs ours.
The amount of times I've watched us this season and the opponent player is much better than their Liverpool equivalent.
Get. Salah. Off. The. Pitch.
Anyone advocating keeping Salah on at the end of this season is absolutely mental IMO
Wide men who can actually do something and a proper holding midfielder are absolutely necessary purchases this summer.
Yep. Almost find myself wondering how we managed to win the league with Gravenberch in that position.
Why do we have Ekitike rolling the ball forward to Szoboszlai from the kick off? Haven't they changed the rules (a long time ago) so the first pass can be played backwards?
Once reclined my chair to sleep (at night) on a long haul flight and the lady behind me went absolutely insane. She grabbed my seat and forced it forward and told me to fuck off for "being selfish". She ended up getting moved.
Mane looks like you can mold him into whatever sort of forward you want. Could become a real Swiss Army Knife front four player. No brainer.
Mac Allister's stats must be absolutely horrific for this game
What the fuck is wrong with this lot?
To me, your ideal primary trait of a 6 is an excellent tackler and ball recoverer. Next thing I want is someone who can punch it through the lines. Grav doesn't really do either. His skill seems to be carrying the ball which is maybe a better skill for an 8.
I'm onboard with getting a proper DM. I've not been overly convinced with Gravenberch tbh. I think his easy on the eye turns and odd venture forward really mask his deficiencies. Not a huge fan of him in the 6 position.
In Thailand at the moment. Didn't stay up for the match. Good decision.
From the few *Jacquet vs" YouTube clips I watched last night, he is excellent at passing the ball through the lines.
I wonder if we're prioritising that above other attributes in a CB at the moment.
Be interesting to see what wingers/wide forwards they will bring in this summer. I reckon one each side, both high value but with loads of potential upside.
Get two decent forwards around Ekitike and Wirtz and this team would be half decent
