I know absolutely nothing about the real development difficulties faced by the Microsoft team, but the points you listed seem incredibly simple in light of several "useless" features included in the latest releases.

For some reason the "Refresh Preview" button was removed from PowerBI Desktop, and now my schema has new tables added and I can't see them in the database objects list...
The question is: Why??

..., and generate the database schema so that it knows how the database is structured, include how you want your formatting, etc. and Copilot uses this knowledge to inspect your queries, or simply document in a personalized way, it's very useful.
Copilot in VS Code has some incredible features, one that I've been using a lot lately is the custom instructions, you can generate a markdown of the MS documentation, and even of your website...
