There’s a reason he’s on a national press tour. It’s because 1) no one likes him here who isn’t paid to like him and 2) he’s not here helping anyone

Mayor Frey refused to support a unanimous call from the city council to ask Gov. Walz for an eviction moratorium to support our most vulnerable neighbors and now everyone's having to crowdfund rent.

Not calling anyone out but calibrate your messages to reflect two truths:
1. ICE is shifting their enforcement emphasis to the suburbs, exurbs and greater Minnesota.
2. ICE is still very much in the central cities.

Posting this again because I'm quite proud of this short story. Why is no one asking how the house felt. Perhaps the tenant simply had hauntable vibes. (Also pls donate to the Yesod Fund www.yesodfund.org or a comparable fund of your choice to help ppl in the Twin Cities make rent & buy groceries.)

They were open for a brief moment a week or two ago! But then they ran out of the 50k they had for the fund so it closed quick. Not that it necessarily matters, but just to say there’s been dedication to getting money to people ASAP.
