I don't think that people realize that social media was never a replacement for 3rd spaces. When people say touch grass they are looking out for your well being lol. I am basically only using this platform to find other developers at this point. xD
I don't like ai tools for music production. Seems lazy to me. Artisitically bankrupt.
I'm gonna mess around with some local models in a vm later but I got other projects to do. I'm going to link my github when I get to doing software projects again.
Toying around with Gemini has made me really want to block all AI services again. ISTG I am always in a bind when it comes to these things because I see some (very little) potential but the current use cases seem like they would be better served by more purpose built tools anyway.

Very interested in the idea of using robot swarms as a form of vr locomotion. Basically a bunch of small robots are used in order to generate a 3d "slice" that mirrors the geometry of a scene in vr and moving through the virtual space makes the bots move in the opposite direction of the player/user.
