what if i were kinda sleepy and also had work later?

not that i often do anything about it anyway

i am rarely as horny as i was today, though most of that time was spent at work where i can't do anything about it

i'm like if a girl cared too much about an unreleased minecraft mod

might try and see if i can make a thaumcraft wand focus that functions as a tardis refined amethyst screwdriver sometime. obviously post-thaumcraft release. ideally i'd like to expand the amethyst screwdriver functions to be a more general use sonic too, but i don't know how to do any of this yet

then somebody else will do it better with thaumcraft compatibility patches and i'll have to take all that effort out to slot in the stuff from people who actually know what they're doing

when thaumcraft 7 does come out, i get the feeling i'm gonna have to figure out how to add aspects to a shitton of modded items and blocks from mods that haven't ever had to consider thaumcraft compatibility before

i need to learn to shapeshift

running the server on a separate (and probably more powerful) computer will probably help too

like, it's not perfect, but it's gone from a consistent timeout within a few seconds of joining to an occasional timeout within a few seconds of joining

the repeatable server crash seemed to be caused by distant horizons overwhelming the server. the timeouts may have been caused by client-side distant horizons begging for too much chunk data at once and straining the connection. removing server side dh and setting the client to adapt rates helps

of course, now i'm running into a problem where the server crashes within a minute of me joining it to test things out. unless i temporarily remove server-side distant horizons, in which case the server continues fine but i time out constantly

figured it out. bunch of client only mods to clear out. server only noticed and disabled one of them

also thaumcraft 7 needs to come out already or the name of the pack will make no sense for who knows how much longer

the whole point of making this pack was to have a coherent modded experience to play on a server with my partners. also to turn minecraft into a mobile base game via the tardis. if i can't get this thing to run on a server, that's most of the reason for making it gone

the minecraft modpack i've been working on works pretty well for singleplayer, but i cannot for the life of me get it to launch as a server. i've got the right forge server jar and all the libraries and such. it's all there. just gets partway into loading mods, throws an error, and quits

there is no good reason they should be missing. i never misplace my keys. they always go exactly back when i'm done using them. i check that they're there regularly. i'm kinda pissed. also sad

lost my keys for the first time in my life. disappeared from the very specific pocket of my purse i always keep them in. just like when i lost each of my butterfly necklaces in turn, despite knowing exactly where i kept them

really gonna miss that server. haven't been active there in so long, but it really was a wonderful place. thanks for maintaining it as long as you did

doesn't help that they both have front row seats to my various weird tech problems caused by doing weird things to my computers

i've been on linux since i got my first laptop in high school, and aside from throwing mint on my mom's old laptop so it could be usable again, i don't think i've ever convinced anyone to switch. only recently have my girlfriends been talking about maybe switching because windows sucks
