She has been playing it almost non-stop since she got it. It very much looks and feels Animal Crossing-esque. She did say there are some quality-of-life improvements that AC is missing, specifically around the crafting.
The wife has been bird dogging this game for about a month. She learned about it when it showed up in her "News" feed on the Switch about upcoming games. She bought it as soon as she could.
