shader errors are already reported within mm, just not very visible(in a console panel)
original suggestion, for me it simply shows pure black instead of the same result(maybe hardware-dependent idk) on shader error at v1.5 but i think it's still a fun idea to implement

Material Maker 1.5p1 is now available for download. It fixes a few annoying bugs from 1.5.
