If those aren’t mouths, what are they?

I genuinely think that designers especially should play at many games and as many kinds of games as possible. Steal from everything.

Art is better when the artist is well rounded.

If your brain works anything like mine does, it’s because eventually this new fantasy game will be important enough to you where you will start to work on WYRM (etc) as a form of procrastination

I honestly believe that if I grew up in a religion that acknowledged “god is an asshole sometimes” I don’t think I would have lost my faith

“God is good” was the foundation of Christianity for me, and the second I read Exodus 11:5 where god indiscriminately killed children, I lost my faith

I was trying to write a fantasy novel, and in doing research for my world’s fake religion, I realized that all of my core beliefs were based on conversations about morality that I had with my friends, and not actual religious text

If you don’t like the game part of games, you’re allowed to just tell stories.

You’re allowed to play pretend.

If what you like is only the pretend part, just do that.

I’ve always thought “Carbon Footprint” would be a dope name for a mech game. The cover would be a giant robot footprint with maybe a half crushed car for scale

I think I was getting confused because on PC and Mac they have the ability to combine all three affinity programs in one suite. Kept seeing the ability to use vector and pixel with both programs

I’m guessing that’s not the case on iPad

Similar card, except this Oddish has the move “Ram” that can deal 2 DMG counters

“Literally Any Action” could be informed by the image on the card: Oddish has tiny legs and no arms, therefore it probably can’t climb up a cliff wall without a specific move

Or

“Literally Any Action” could be informed by outside game knowledge of its learnset of specific moves:

Example:

Every DMG counter = +1 DC
5 DMG counters = Death

D20 roll over DC
[50 🟢] Literally Any Action: DC = 5
[🟢 10] a “Trip Over” Action: DC = 1

Dots deal Damage:
1 ⚪️ = 1 DMG counter
If Attacks, both deal 1 DMG counter
🟢 = grass type damage

Weakness: x2 fire type damage
1 🔴 = 2 DMG counters
