it is extremely scary yea, working on oneself is basically being ridiculously uncomfortable and doing uncomfortable things until you become comfortable with it
theres no real tutorial but i firmly believe that thru Other people in Real Life you can find a lot of yrself. i look for ways to find ppl

i been taking great steps to find communities i can call home. i've been meeting so many people, and generally feeling quite nice lately! im making a lot of art, but choosing not to post the most of it.

Also, I will be attending Furpocalypse this weekend, feel free to say hi!

chasing stability after a life of trauma ended up bringing me deep loneliness too. i found that only thru taking risks and steppin outside my comfort zone did i ever been finding things i was looking for. community and connection with others

so far it hasnt for me, im not sure it ever will, but i still continue to be around people anyways. sometimes when i share moments of laughter with friendly folk, i feel like it the feeling doesnt matter anymore, if just for a moment. i try to search for and create those moments now

hi friend, i relate a lot to things u say, as ive said many times. please keep being around ppl, as dreadfully hard as it is. we really need ppl. ppl we can open our hearts to one day ,and they come back the next day to play some board games. stay safe

I know what you mean!! i used to find and frequent furmeets and localized furry group chats to meet ppl when i wuz younger. if you’re in the U.S, most states i been to have one. or are starting one (cleveland had its first mini con!). If you have telegram, theres a bot for finding furry group chats

its difficult, friend :( today i reached out to some old bandmates i hadnt spoken to in a year. we're about to hangout at some mini local horror convention... i think im gonna keep saying yes to things.... best of luck to you friend
