It’s the February full moon tonight, the snow moon, but not visible here with the cloud and rain. Here’s the snow moon from 2021 🌝

I went to the Lee Miller exhibition at Tate Britain this week.
In 2020 I spoke with her granddaughter, Ami Bouhassane at Farleys House for Mostly Folk.
Thought I’d share a little. This snippet is about her parents discovering Miller’s archive following her death.

I’m in Hastings on Friday as Jason McNiff’s Sundowner guest at The Jenny Lind, with David Perry joining on guitar.
Had a great night on Saturday opening for Stick in the Wheel with David Tomlins. So good to see friends there. The only photo I managed was at their soundcheck.
I am no longer on the FM airways, but if you'd like to keep up with my old and new music projects, consider signing up for my RootsWorld mailing list?

For #FolkyFriday our heroine is a wise old woman.
With a sieve and candle she mimicked the rising sun, tricking the devil into thinking night was over and interrupting efforts to flood the area.

Every seven years in Alfriston, the ghost of a white dog was said to appear on White Way, thought to be Thomas Chowne's pet.
Chowne was killed by robbers and when his bones were found and moved to St Andrews churchyard, sightings of the ghostly dog ceased.
