It’s Monday again. Do I have to work? I really just want to knit. And listen to my audiobooks.
It’s a new year and I’m finding that more than ever, people are striving to find their people…their community.
Last night, I had 16 people at my knitting group, which has been pretty consistent in the last year, with about 10.
The jump was a little overwhelming, but so nice to meet new people!

Sigh. I hear you. I ordered yarn to start a new project. But I have four more hats to make for Xmas (should go fairly quick). Plus #westknits MKAL to finish before the HKAL starts after Christmas.

My current longest term WIP…this is Shipwreck Shawl. The first time I attempted this was back in 2009 when it was first published. I gave up after maybe 10 rounds. I started this one in like 2022 and it’s bigger than this picture shows. If you know the pattern…I’m on the beaded section.
What’s your favorite type of project to work and what’s hibernating?

You never know!!! I have a list of WIPs I’ve sworn to finish…and I’ll make a good start…but then start something else which I WILL finish. It’s just…UGH!!! So many to work on.
I think I am going to borrow an e-spinner and try it out. Although the wheels are beautiful!
