I appreciate what NPPA, Getty and others are doing to maintain their rights. I've often heard about bad clauses that force individual photographers to choose: sign and lose your rights, etc, or otherwise not cover the artist/event. Big organizations can collectively stand up to such nonsense.

Good points. The manufacturing process is likely slow and of course costly. The challenge is the question of “what else might I put this sum of money towards?”. There are always other devices/purchases that I’m dreaming of. 😊

Agreed. It’s nice watching the (slowly moving) process move forward. And to see the delight in Jeff Bridges’ face as he opens and examines the new Wideluxx. The joy and passion is for sure genuine.
