I like to shout "That solved the problem!"

Now I'm even more annoyed that I'll be in the wilds of... um, Mississauga. Boo for me.
This is happening at the store this coming Saturday! It's not a launch, but a chat. Come, hang out!
Too many years in a row studying Macbeth meant I couldn't look at it for well over a decade. And a terrible professor nearly ruined King Lear for me. Thankfully, Seana McKenna gave it back.
Midsummer's Night's Dream was the first of his plays I ever read (not saw) and I still have such fond memories.
But I've probably spent more time with Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night, and The Tempest.
He looks... so good. SO GOOD. They all do. We're going to die. And I, for one, will go happy.
Some people can navigate the chaotic sea that is ticket-buying but my experience is always:
-agonizingly long wait
-sign in with password that is inexplicably no longer valid
-reset password
-find self booted to back of line
-repeat
Profoundly unfun.
Aw. There's so much great stuff out there. It's just mostly not in English anymore.
This is not fine.
Stil: booooo!
This kind of practicality can feel grey and joyless in advance but is it So! Helpful! to Future You. Having one less chore in a truly difficult time feels like a gift.
Little Mermaid. She gave a fantastic rendition of 'Poor Unfortunate Souls' -- so good!
Today I get to watch my niece perform in a musical. Can't wait: she's going to make such a great villain.
I was so relieved to see them nix convention appearance. Can't wait to find out!
Gods, what terrible news to wake up to. Hate this fucking timeline so much.
The only parts of the SotU I saw were clips in comedians' commentary but I'd watch a whole documentary about the US women's hockey team having fun in Vegas.
This seems like a smart strategy. And yet...
Just to be extra annoying, I lost one pair one glove at a time.
I've lost three pairs of mittens and two pairs of gloves and we're not even out of February yet. Even for me, that's a little ridiculous.
This is tonight!
Jenny Crusie's BET ME did this pretty well: the female lead had a misunderstanding she kept trying to bring up but each time the conversation legitimately turned to another subject that ended up bringing them closer together. So when it blew up at the end it felt real.
Hate that I've entered my 'oh gods, my hip!' era. Osteopathy is doing wonders but I'm still made of ouch.
Where are you watching it? BritBox?
Bare faced and so, so beautiful.
So scary! So fun/fast/frightening!
That's... wonderful!
It tried to suggest I change 'for' to 'four'. In the middle of the word 'forecast'.
I want to punch it INNA FACE
Even worse, now the @#$% program often suggests 'fixes' that are not only boring and/or stupid but also incorrect. Gah!!
May your memories of him bring you joy.
Sometimes you gotta wallow in the stereotype. Mom and baby doing fine, btw. If disappointed.
