I’m still learning to accept that myself. I’m still healing. Still growing. But I do know one thing:

You are not alone.

To anyone reading this—if you’re feeling invisible, forgotten, or unloved—please know that just because it feels that way, doesn’t mean it’s true. There are people who care. People who would miss you if you were gone. People whose lives you’ve touched without even knowing.

I won’t lie—sometimes, I wonder if it’d be easier to just vanish... But deep down, I know that’s not the answer. Because even if most people seem not to care, the ones who do—they’re out there. They’re the ones who matter.

It lifts me up when I feel like everything around me is crumbling. It quiets the loud thoughts that echo in loneliness. It gives me strength. It makes me feel seen. It gives me a reason to keep waking up and showing up.

Working as a housekeeper in a nursing home has its challenges—no doubt—but every smile, every “thank you,” every moment of shared connection makes it feel worth it.

Even though my passions lie elsewhere, this path has shown me purpose.

And this… this is what keeps me going. It’s what fuels my heart in a job that can be both exhausting and incredibly rewarding.

Love isn’t always grand. Sometimes it’s just someone sitting beside you, someone remembering your favorite song, someone choosing to stay when it would’ve been easier to leave.

You’ll see it in the way their eyes light up when you enter the room. In the softness of their voice when they speak to you. In the smallest gestures—their laughter when you’re near, their quiet presence in your silence, their joy in simply being with you.

The right ones—the ones who are meant to stay—will give to you freely. They’ll treat you gently. Their love won’t always be loud, but it will be real.

If someone values you—truly values you—you won’t have to guess. You won’t have to force anything. They’ll show it. They’ll reflect your kindness. They’ll meet you where you are, without you needing to ask.

Don’t place expectations on everyone.

When life feels overwhelming and the world seems to turn its back on you... when you're left wondering why others can't treat you the way you treat them—pause. Breathe. And remember the people who genuinely feel lucky to have you in their lives.
