I already have three monitors at work, and envy the few people I see with six...
It is. Both of those things.
I would love someone to pick up the idea and run with it. Still haven't seen any other game really deliver on that Super Brawl fantasy that we were building our game around.
As a result, the current generation user base is less than would normally be expected, resulting in poorer sales of games, contributing to the current industry implosion which is seeing so many devs lose their jobs, especially juniors which would be the future of the industry.
That's not such a great positive even within the context of this generation. Normally, console prices for the current generation would have come down by now, but instead they are HIGHER - unprecedented in any previous console generation.
I miss being outraged (really delighted) about the offensiveness of truly weird limited time flavors! π
The Gingerbread ones were here in Sweden as well. Wanted them to be a lot weirder than they were - didn't even taste like gingerbread to me, just cinnamon and sugar corn tortilla chips.
Not weird or remotely offensive, kinda boring really.
Could totally see them as a desert item at Taco Bell.
I once had a roommate who used normal liquid dishsoap in the dishwasher, because he didn't think there was a difference.
The kitchen was literally 3 feet deep in suds. π€¦ββοΈ
I quite enjoyed it! Binged it all in one go.
Itβs Saturday! πΊ
Post a cartoon TV series you love
Absolutely fantastic!
FWIW, the 3rd floor is most often closed. They opened it up early for us because... <waves hands around>
The cocktail lounge is lovely if you want a smaller gathering where it is quiet enough for conversations.
And it sounds like I just missed you on the 3rd floor ( I left 20 minutes ago)!
This is where Marvel has gone astray - that "this genre, but Marvel" was such a good run and kept MCU from just being super hero churn, but... they abandoned it for some reason, outside of these Spotlight series (Werewolf By Night was also so fantastic).
I am halfway through Wonder Man right now.
I am all about the hibernation! Books, movies, games, and painting!
And it was a very good time for it - Dec 19 marked the end of my last 6+ years working on one project, and upon my return I start of a whole new thing. A long break in between felt like a good transition. π
As someone that took all of January off from work, I am on the other side of that - "Why is January almost over? I am not ready to go back to work!! π"
(Doesn't help that I got a nasty flu that left me sick for the first half of the month, losing those couple weeks to a fever dream haze.)
It is true. And I do not do this often enough.
Trying to decide now if it is worth overpaying to get one on eBay to add it to my obsessively expansive warhost... π
I am upset that I do not recognize that model.
Yeah, until I woke up this morning and looked at the subject blowing up on my phone, I had no idea.
Oh well, one more former fandom into the woodchipper...
My favorite era of Trans Am was the final version before Pontiac got eliminated as a brand. I owned a 98 metallic green one, and it was so much fun to drive.
No, but Jim Morrison played a pretty convincing version of Val in that Oliver Stone biopic.
Fantastic choice - and there are so many fantastic choices from the 90s, especially my 90s triangle of obsession: Tori/NIN/Stabbing Westward, but I have to go with Fiona Apple's Tidal.
It is just a timeless masterpiece of an album.
I'm not even good at socializing and have no interest in "networking", but yeah, make friends, be a professional, BE THE KIND OF PERSON PEOPLE WANT TO WORK WITH.
30 years in the industry and EVERY company I have worked at started with a referral by someone that knew me - and wanted to work with me.
Movie you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (either War or Trek), LOTR, or Marvel.
I watched this so many times when I was younger. I need to track down a copy of this on physical media...
T-mobile push notification sent to my Apple Watch trying to sell me Little caesar for some fucking reason
Have you ever had a utility provider do something so absurdly user hostile that you consider dropping them on the spot
Grain and fruit products sound all right to me...
I went to trauma therapy here in Europe, and one of the intake questions on the form was asking if I had ever been threatened with a gun, and I was just like, "Uh, yeah, a few times, I grew up in the States, but that's not why I'm here."
Totally normal American things.... π
