Precisely why it's such a loss, and we should be legitimately concerned any subscription-based online stuff for this edition would be just as quickly wiped when the next one comes out.

They tried that live service stuff with 4e, and that's a big part of why the game is actually harder to get hold of all the stuff and play than previous editions. I guess after 12 years of turnover they're already forgetting the lessons from that.
Blacksmiths. There's tons of folklore about blacksmiths being weird guys who are the only one who can solve your problems, especially if said problems involve the devil pretending to be a woman.
Have you tried maybe improving the economy? Higher, less punitively run unemployment benefits and creating more jobs in areas that desperately need them like healthcare, transport maintennance and community support.

Needs some Scott the Woz curtains to complement it and keep the endermen from looking through your windows.
I have also found this deeply frustrating, especially compared to my experience with TTRPG's where the big ones do have meticulous pdf archives you can torrent easily. Assembling a similar thing for the likes of NME and Melody Maker would be a huge boon to historians.
Technology may have advanced, but it's depressing how little things have changed on the top in 40 years.

An image of 17 AI company logos. They all look like more or less stylized buttholes.
Why does the entire industry look like they had a logo drawing contest and the only rule was βeat this acid and draw a buttholeβ?
Levi, the denim man.
As long as he has superior numbers of guys with guns on his side, it doesn't matter what the law says. The law is meaningless without the threat of violence to back it up.
At least Jerry Springer knew not to become one of the clowns in his own circus.
Big "why is this one so much better than Mambos 1-4" energy here.
"The most important men in town would come to fawn on me
They will ask me to advise them
Like a Solomon the Wise
Posing problems that would cross a rabbi's eyes
And it won't make one bit of difference
If I answer right or wrong
When you're rich, they think you really know"
Even if individual posts get harder to spot, it'll still be easy to spot a slopposter by looking at their profile and seeing just how frequently & formulaicly they post.
Numerous poor design decisions, but the biggest was making the doors all-electronic, so if anything goes wrong you're trapped, unlike a normal car where you could just get out.
How dare they mix up who the law protects but does not bind and who the law binds but does not protect.
I dread the next time I fill up my 42TB RAID, and have to transfer all of that to an even bigger one, especially if it happens while the AI bubble is still inflating chip prices.
Because you need manual oversight to determine if the post is genuinely lawbreaking, or just being vexaciously reported because someone doesn't like it. Otherwise bad actors can abuse the report function to get valid news about their activites removed.
It can resolve the initial conflict temporarily by telling different sets of plausible lies to everyone involved. The problem comes when real conditions don't change, because the AI has no real power to enforce regulations or change pay rates.
Barrels are the Hoover of casks.
This is also very heavily the focus of most songwriting camps. A whole ton of people brainstorming the lyrics, and one producer putting it to the most generic beats and chord sequences because they basically have to whip them up in real time and that means relying on templates and copy-pasting.
BLAINE IS A PAIN, AND THAT IS THE TRUTH!
Only real hallucinations from artisanally picked mushrooms will do.
Dullest humour by the most accidental people imaginable.
21 seconds suh suh suh. 21 seconds suh suh suh.
If you like me and you know get me in the studio, I've got 21 seconds before I've got to go.
Never underestimate the laziness of everyone involved in AI, including the AI itself.
"Blackberry: Men have always hated us.
Holly: No. They just destroyed the warren because we were in their way.
Fiver: They'll never rest until they've spoiled the earth."
