Typing this up, Im inspired to make a short story based on this.

In I'aljin's timeline, the Azem crystal summons phantoms that he dubs the "Mirrors of Azem", as it only summons reflections of Azem.

These Mirrors come in 2 flavors. The Mirrors that correspond to reflections that still yet live are only sentient enough to work in the role they were summoned in.

Sage came along when he fully accepted himself and how far he's come, finally gained a sense of internal peace.
