PSA for those who travel by bus in Oxfordshire. Avoid the Oxford Smartzone 28 Day pass on the Stagecoach Bus App, otherwise you'll pay £81 when it should be £75.
They're aware and are working to fix it, don't get caught out!
Big news from the world of radio over in Australia, as Jackie from the Kyle and Jackie O Show quits, following an on-air argument last week, while Kyle has been suspended for serious misconduct.
One of Australia's longest serving radio double acts. Interesting times ahead. This ain't no PR stunt.
I really want to start using this platform more. So it’d be great to connect with people! So, if you…

Pleased to be able to share this evaluation report into Ambient Voice Technology (AVT), which gives detailed findings of the testing of four products over five different departments across OUH, including both complex and simple use cases.

I don't do New Years resolutions. Instead, I have goals that I'd like to try and achieve each year.
One of them is refreshing my own website and branding that I've neglected for a couple of years, all part of the wider goal to get back into freelancing in the world of UI and graphic design.
Let’s hope this gets through. Stood in the vestibule for an hour and a half last year from Oxford. Despite the train being full, platform staff at Leamington still tried to get people onboard, nearly causing injury.
Ooh thank you, I’ll check it out!
Will @bsky.app ever release an iPad app? 🤔
A field with low lying fog
Good Morning! Thought I’d re-introduce myself to new & current followers, plus those who may want to follow.
I’m Ian, a Marketing & Comms professional from the UK. I’m a freelance UI and graphic designer & user.

A desk underneath a window
Spent most of this afternoon swapping things around the office, as I’ve now inherited a new chair.
What do we think about desks under windows? Have to say I think this is going to take some getting used to, having had my desk against the wall for years, but could be alright?
Agreed. Also saw on the same group the guy behind the national campaign is supposedly visiting Oxfordshire tomorrow to stick more flags up.
The whole thing just saddens me.
Was an interesting debate! Was quite happy with the response to my situation, but the proof will be in the pudding come end of Feb.
Laughed when Luke said ‘not yet’ when asked if they’d sue the council… 😅, they ran with that as a headline story for the morning!
I too discovered this when I saw a few flags hung up where I live. Looks like tomorrow is set to be a big day in the city and surrounding areas as more are set to be raised 😔
A street with blue sky
Still somewhat light at 4:30pm. Spring is on the way! 🌿

An underrated feature of macOS is the live tracking of certain apps from your iPhone.
Handy as I'd ordered lunch and left my phone in another room. Downside, I ended up cancelling as the estimated delivery time changed to 1hr+ and it never moved to 'preparing your order'.
NEW Apple Thought 💭: Apple in 2026
I share my thoughts on what Apple could (and maybe should) do to some of their product lineup in 2026. Including the iPhone, Mac and HomePod.

Getting to know all my neighbours this week, either through people parking in my space, or things delivered to the wrong address.
Good job all my neighbours are lovely. Feel like there's a real community spirit here, which can often feel lost with everything else that's happening in the world.
I listened to your Sunday show for the first time at the weekend and hope to continue to do so, it was feisty, to the point and genuinely well informed.

Tidy aesthetics ahead of a new working week - and the first full working week of 2026.
Marketing & Comms awaits, along with the beginning of my new side hustle as I venture back into UI & Graphic Design.
🤦♂️ that's not good, especially since the news item with no helpful information has been on the public website since 24 December. Here's hoping communication improves across the board this year!
Thanks for sharing! I saw that one operator shared a post about fare rises, including the single fare, but didn't explicitly say what it was going up to - nor did they reply to my post asking 🤦♂️.
A sunrise over a building
Beautiful sunrise at the office this morning 🌅
Just put together the playlist for Saturday's #WeekendAnthems. Fresh hits, classic anthems and festive favourites thrown in for good measure.

Cherwell DC have only just realised we are able to recycle glass with our own recycling at home, it’s taken 30+ years 😅, so I reckon it’ll be a long wait!

The refurbished Santander Bank and Work Cafe in Oxford City Centre
The refurbished Santander Bank & Work Cafe in Oxford City Centre looks rather nice lit up at night.
Looking forward to utilising the work cafe when it’s open.
