The “prosecute the former regime at every level” candidate has my vote in 2028.
The fact is that the supporters of this regime will NEVER accept/admit they’re supporting, at best, an unserious person whose administration will do harm to this country for generations. I’ve given up trying. The mental gymnastics and cognitive dissonance are too strong.
With the news this morning, the reality is that I’m once again disappointed. Disappointed because I believe it still won’t matter. We’ve all seen this movie before, but plenty of people are pretending the reboot will somehow be different.
Terrible movie with terrible characters and you don’t want to root for any of them. The fact that people find this romantic explains so much about our society.
Days like today are when I really miss my mom. Because all the energy spent on trying to make the world a better place and feeling like it’s still getting worse… I could use some sort of pep talk. To say that, even if it doesn’t feel like it, it will get better and it’s worth the fight.

She was exploited by every corporation, government entity, religious institution… they stole her labor, her energy, her time… and when she was of no further use to them, they cast her aside like garbage. Coupled with everything going on in the world… what’s the point? Will it ever get better?

The lawsuits and holding up appointments are definitely something. But it’s not enough. The working class needs to organize and get to work. Slowdowns. General strike. Work to rule. We need job actions at every worksite across the country. Show them who actually keeps society going. Hint… we do!

Along those lines… so glad all the fucking Seattle Dems and Shasti pushed out Hilary Franz in favor of Bob (because she was TOO conservative?)… who is now governing to the RIGHT of ACTUAL Republican governors.
We have huge majorities in both houses and every statewide elected office, yet they refuse to do fuck all for the working class.
BTW… I’m strongly considering releasing some of our endorsement interviews to publicly call out certain politicians who’ve turned on us less than a week into their term.
