I suppose locals see them as just another animal that you shouldn't feed, but, being from Ohio, I only see them when I visit the tropics. The mini-dinosaurs are fascinating to me.
Iguana
When I met this iguana near a beach, he gave me hello with a head bob and a display of his dewlap, the flap of skin under the chin. And later I met him again as he was sunning on a boat dock. I left the grand guy on the dock to enjoy the sun.

Icicles formed as the melting snow from the warm, south-facing roof trickled down and then refroze in the cold, cold air.
