Moon rising above the Seattle Space Needle late Sunday afternoon.
Insane light behind the skyline tonight. The sun dropped under the cloud deck and lit the upper storm towers like a spotlight while the city stayed in shadow.
I love it!
Happy Seahawks celebration day! #gohawks #superbowlchampions
I put it into Chat GPT and it came back as AI or so heavily manipulated that it is no longer a photo. There's just no way to get a starburst like that from behind those really dark, thick clouds, plus if it was sunrise, it wouldn't be at the top of the mountain like that, it'd be on the horizon.
Chonky rainbow over Seattle today.
It's near Seattle, WA
Im happy you like it!
Thank you!
Crescent moon setting over Illahee Tuesday night.
Red Aurora at Lake Crescent Monday night.
First Bluesky post of the new year. The light was right in Elliott Bay tonight and the rain softened the skyline behind the ferry like a natural filter. I was so stoked while I was taking these. This is exactly the kind of photography day I live for.
Merry Christmas, Bluesky!
Nice little sun break this afternoon.
Random morning on the way to the city.
USS Nimitz (CVN-68) on it's way to Bremerton today.
Gorgeous light at sunset tonight.

Tonight the storm clouds felt endless, yet the sunset still found a way to shine on Seattle for a brief, beautiful moment. I love how photography teaches me to slow down and appreciate scenes like this. It makes everything feel meaningful.
Did you know I sell my photography? Well, I do! You can check out my Milky Way photography here:

Tahoma from Mt Walker.
Northern Lights over Bainbridge Island! Does anyone else feel completely energized from it? I am wired!!
Haha, I know I was like, was that just last year?! Awesome photo!
Wasn't it in 2024? It feels like so long ago π
Saturday's stunning sunrise.
Thank you, Rick!
I had so much fun photographing the Jack O' Lantern on the Great Wheel on the Seattle Waterfront tonight. It's face is so adorable, it makes me smile everytime I look at it!
