New leaf at the back has now overtaken the first one. By far the chubbiest, healthiest plant I’ve grown from seed so far 😍

You can’t help but become a #birdwatcher when you live in #Australia. It goes from awe to is-it-going-to-drop-something-on-my-head-or-swoop and back to awe again.

With the exception of the #cockatoo, the rest of these guys were harmless. Oh wait, the #lorikeets ate my plants. 😑

Some of mine do that too. I use raffia ribbon and a barbecue stick to prop them back up. I don’t know if the pros will approve 😅

One of my favourites in my little collection! The emergents are sometimes deep red. Sometimes they come out in a dark green-purple-brown colour before turning into dark green, ultra velvety leaves.
