There are some movies that I absolutely love but I can’t watch again, and Grave of the Fireflies is one. (Come and See and Shoah are two others.)

I haven’t read this, but a lot of my feelings on AI were shaped by his “What Computers Still Can’t Do”, and his lectures on Being and Time gave me a better understanding of it. Dreyfus was a real one.

If history is any indication, nothing will likely happen to them. No one got executed or tried for treason after the Civil War; only about 200 Nazis were defendants in the Nuremberg trials. Between history and the “invade the Hague” law, I expect only a few people at most to face consequences.

This is especially cool because our bundle is not just transfem-majority, but we have multiple Black participants, multiple global south participants, all demographics that are usually *very* overlooked and marginalized by publishing (self and trade).

Given how many kids were breakdancing to “Beat Box” and “Close (to the Edit)”, and “Moments in Love” being a Quiet Storm staple, I could kinda see how this could happen. Still hilarious af though.
